The outer shell carries a 10000 mm water column rating and a water-repellent membrane; taped seams and a water-repellent zipper improve performance in wet conditions. Insulated padding and breathable construction help keep warmth while allowing air circulation. The adjustable, removable hood with drawcord and an adjustable bottom hem permit fit adjustments. Practical details include a chin guard at the zipper, side zip pockets, a breast pocket, a ski pass pocket and a warming inner lining.
